Group Stage
4 groups of 6 players – round-robin format
Each player plays 5 matches within their group
Top 2 from each group qualify for the SSL Champion Bracket
3rd & 4th from each group qualify for the SSL Plate Bracket
5th and 6th in each group are eliminated after the group stage
Seeding
As of 30th July, handicaps will determine seeds into 6 pots
Pot 1 → 1st – 4th Lowest Handicaps
Pot 2 → 5th – 8th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 3 → 9th – 12th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 4 → 13th – 16th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 5 → 17th – 20th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 6 → 21st – 24th Next Lowest Handicaps
One player from each pot will be drawn into each group
Fixtures
Fixtures will have deadlines
All fixtures can be played early if required.
New for this year. Any match that isn’t played before the deadline incurs a penalty.
Match not played – when both players fault
Both players 0 points & -5 H.D
Match not played – when one players fault
Winning player gets 3 points & +5 H.D.
Losing player -3 points & -5 H.D.
Important
If anyone misses two deadlines, their results are wiped completely. The round robin will be 1 less player.

Match Play Rules
All matches played off scratch
18-hole matchplay format
All group matches must be played to end of 18, with the final result recorded at the end
Draws after 18 allowed in group stage
Knockout rounds must have a winner – sudden death playoff if tied after 18 holes
Play from blue tees (or blue tombstones if not set)
Playing Your Match
Players encouraged to play matches in groups of four where possible
Players encouraged to post any planned matches in the group to coordinate with others
Buggies permitted with mutual agreement
Result of Match
The winner of the match is responsible for submitting the result through the website
The loser of the match must write a match report in the group Whatsapp
Scheduling
Each match will have a strict deadline
Round 1 – (West) – by Sunday 6th September
Round 2 – (East) – by Sunday 11th October
Round 3 – (West) – by Sunday 8th November
Round 4 – (East) – by Thursday 13th December
Round 5 – (West) – by Sunday 17th January
Quarter Finals (East) – by Sunday 14th February
Semi Finals (East) – by Sunday 14th March
Finals Day (East) – Saturday March 20th
