Payments must then be received by 7th August
Group Stage
4 groups of 6 players – round-robin format
Each player plays 5 matches within their group
Top 2 from each group qualify for the SSL Champion Bracket
3rd & 4th from each group qualify for the SSL Plate Bracket
5th and 6th in each group are eliminated after the group stage
Seeding
As of 10th August, handicaps will determine seeds into 6 pots
Pot 1 → 1st – 4th Lowest Handicaps
Pot 2 → 5th – 8th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 3 → 9th – 12th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 4 → 13th – 16th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 5 → 17th – 20th Next Lowest Handicaps
Pot 6 → 21st – 24th Next Lowest Handicaps
One player from each pot will be drawn into each group
Fixtures
On completion of draw. Fixtures will be released within 24 hours
Fixtures will have deadlines
All fixtures can be played early if required
Points System
3 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss

Match Play Rules
All matches played off scratch
18-hole matchplay format
All group matches must be played to end of 18, with the final result recorded at the end
Draws after 18 allowed in group stage
Knockout rounds must have a winner – sudden death playoff if tied after 18 holes
Play from blue tees (or blue tombstones if not set)
Playing Your Match
Players encouraged to play matches in groups of four where possible
Players encouraged to post any planned matches in the group to coordinate with others
Buggies permitted with mutual agreement
Result of Match
The winner of the match is responsible for submitting the result through the website
The loser of the match must write a match report in the group Whatsapp
Scheduling
Each match will have a strict deadline
Round 1 – (West) – by Sunday 7th September
Round 2 – (East) – by Sunday 5th October
Round 3 – (West) – by Sunday 2nd November
Round 4 – (East) – by Sunday 7th December
Round 5 – (West) – by Sunday 18th January
Quarter Finals (East) – by Sunday 15th February
Semi Finals (East) – by Sunday 15th March
Finals Day (East) – 28th March – 1pm

SSL Champion Final and SSL Plate Final both played on Finals Day, in Same Tee Time
Non-finalists encouraged to join a roll-up event at 11.30am
Evening celebration and night out in Braunton – open to all SSL players
Exemptions
For 2025 season – Players in the QFs in 24′ season (8 exemptions / 16 new spots)
For 2026 season – Players in positions 1-4 in 25′ season groups (16 exemptions / 8 new spots)
